WHAT DO OUR KAIWHAKAHONONGA HAPORI DO?  ……  They help you connect with appropriate support services in our community.

The Kaiwhakahononga Hapori are focused individuals that not only provide you and your whānau (family) with support-related information and advice, we:
Whakarongo (listen), tautoko (support), link & refer you and/or your whānau with a variety of services and appropriate agencies depending on your needs.
This could be led in either your own whare (home), your marae or in our tari (office). The choice is completely yours!

The tautoko includes, but is not limited to:
Attending kanohi ki te kanohi (face to face) hui (meetings) with agencies, as well as offering tautoko with all the daunting things that can overwhelm some, such as online services, filling out government forms & applications, and making appointments with service providers & agencies.
