I’d totally recommend this training. I got to experience my first Powhiri, gained a better understanding of the implications of Te Titiri o Waitangi and the impacts of our NZ history, learnt tips on reo māori pronunciation and gained knowledge of tikanga. The team who facilitated Ki Te Whai Ao blended facts, personal stories, waiata and games into a powerful learning experience.
Awesome program. Highly recommend and all of our staff will be going through this. Thank you so much for the opportunity, we learnt heaps 💖
This training has provided me with the tools to be confident in making changes both personally and professionally. I thank the team at Te Aitarakihi and Kia Tika te Ara educators for making the environment safe to chat, ask questions and learn... Also our group was fantastic, was great to meet you all and connect and learn together. Highly recommend
I found this training amazing - it's given me so much to think about and to find ways to act on. I would recommend Ki Te Whai Ao to anyone who would like to understand more about Te Ao Maori and what true partnership can look like.
Fantastic Programme, best one of its kind that i have had the pleasure of attending, fantastic people, we are now intending on putting all staff through this programme.
An inspiring three days of mahi. Absolutely loved being part of this program and would definitely recommend to anyone.
